Project 2 (a)

Starting above is the finished product.. below i go about explaining  the process of getting the board into the laser cutter then into my ondulating shape.

So i started this laser cutter project with an image file and was going to have fun burning an image of my face into it, till i decided maybe it would be fun to do something TRULY artistic with this laser cuter!
This was just a playful shape i came up with to start messing around with the program and figure out exactly how i was going to do this project.

*Started with a planar Surface undulating in craziness..

*So then I used the contour tool that will contour the shape i made into as many 'slices as i want'

*Easy Offset tool to the thickness i want, then i 'loft' the two lines into the hundreds of intersecting planes you see now

*A closer view of one of the curves allows me to find the intersecting point, plot it, draw out the dimension of Face B (hidden in image) in an attempt to notch away

*The Final product shown here now gives me the actual shapes i need with the proper cut away in order to lock these faces into place. it is a matter of separating all of the faces, laying them flat, number them, and laser cut.
